Careers in Biomedical Research Infrastructures. Virtual BBMRI-ERIC Organizational Tour and Workshop for Doctoral and Postdoctoral Researchers

The Arqus European University Alliance offers a virtual visit of BBMRI-ERIC, one of the largest research infrastructures in Europe. BBMRI-ERIC’s main purpose is to bring together main players from the biobanking field – researchers, biobankers, industry, and patients – to boost biomedical research. BBMRI-ERIC offers quality management services, support with ethical, legal and societal issues; and a number of online tools and software solutions.

*Attendees based in Graz are invited to our office for a coffee before or after, COVID-permitting!

 

Target group: The call is open for early stage researchers of all Arqus members (Universities Granada, Padua, Vilnius, Leipzig, Lyon, Bergen, and Graz). The virtual visit could be relevant for researchers from the fields of bioethics, ethics, law, social sciences, IT, biobanking, pathology, genomics, bioinformatics, quality management and policy, etc.

Date: Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 1 to 5 pm, online

Registration: Via email (doctoral-academy(at)uni-graz.at) until January 15, 2022. We require a short CV (max. 1 page) to be submitted at time of application. Selection procedure: First come first serve, maximum number of participants: 30. The link to the virtual platform will be sent in due time.
