Peer mentoring means that researchers work together for a year in a closed group on their professional development. The members of the group have knowledge, competence and experience advantages in different areas, which they make accessible to each other.
This contributes to the expansion of the personal network beyond one's own area of work and makes possible, for example:
- a quick orientation of new employees,
- the development of new career steps
- finding solutions to challenges in everyday work
- expansion of leadership and team work skills
Each year, a new cohort of the peer mentoring is started. The group is accompanied by external trainers and the PostDoc Office.
At the first meeting, the 2025/26 cohort will get to know each other, determine how group wants to work together (i.e. language, frequency of meetings, moderation/preparation, shared values…), identify and prioritize topics, determine support needed from PostDoc Office.
Deadline to apply for cohort No 4 is April 17, 2025, the Kickoff-Event takes place on May 13, 2025. See & register here.
