On Oct 21, 2025, the selection committee met for the second time since establishment of the Research Careers Campus. 30 RCC Grants for researchers of all career stages were awarded. We congratulate all awardees, and we wish them much success with their work!
The Grants went to researchers from fields such as:
- Economics
- Chemistry
- Molecular Biosciences
- Biology and Biochemistry
- Experimental Physics
- Roman Languages and Literatures
- Southeast European Studies
- Arts and Musicology
- Mathematics and Scientifics Computing
- Environmental Systems Sciences (ESS)
- Interdisciplinary Transnational Studies
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- and more!
They will use the funds:
- to host events with international researchers in Graz
- to present their research to colleagues and conduct research activities abroad (such as in Bordeaux/France, Belgrade/Serbia, Milan/Italy, Rome/Italy, Vienna/Austria, Sousse/Tunisia, Tallinn/Estonia, Zurich/Switzerland, Krakow/Poland)
- and to work torwards successful funding proposals.
The RCC aims to support researchers of all career stages to stay connected and visible, with micro grants to enable them to enhance their research activities. The aim is to promote academic networking and the development of an independent research profile.
Eligible are 1) employees in research contracts and 2) doctoral candidates of the University of Graz (see below for different target groups).
