Innovating in the Alps

Aufnahme aus Obergurgl Ariane Pessentheiner

Uni Graz Researchers contributed to high-level international innovation event

Ariane Pessentheiner and Peter Sagmeister represented the University of Graz at a high-level event on innovation and entrepreneurship from November 21 to November 23, 2023 in Tyrol. In the Ötztal Alps (in Innsbruck‘s Universitätszentrum Obergurgl) the p2i network met for a deep-dive development opportunity, intended to set researchers up with tools, networks and knowledge to launch a business, to innovate in industry, government or the third sector, or to innovate in academia.

While expanding their knowledge about business plans, finances, patents, pitches, and more, our Uni Graz representatives made full use of the opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other aspiring innovators.

The postdocs2innovators network consists of the following partners: AstraZeneca, bp, Freie Universität Berlin, University of Cambridge, University of Duisburg-Essen, The University of Edinburgh, Universität Innsbruck, PSL Research University Paris. We are very pleased that it was possible for Uni Graz researchers to connect with the p2iNetwork! Read more about it here: Entrepreneurship Training | Postdocs to Innovators | Cambridge (p2i-network.eu)

Graz of course has the startup-uni and Unicorn Start-up & Innovation Hub for all your incubation and innovation needs. An upcoming workshop opportunity with one of the facilitators of this event should also be mentioned:
