Medicine is increasingly relying on the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Especially at the interface of biology and data science, completely new possibilities arise. One area of application is "digital hearts". Simulation researcher Elias Karabelas was interviewed for the AirCampus podcast and talks about how "virtual twins" help to develop tailor-made treatments for heart patients.
