Welcome to our PostDoc Peer Mentoring Team 2023/24

The PostDoc Office is happy to announce that the 2nd round of the PostDoc Peer Mentoring programme will start at the end of April. A new mixed-gender group of researchers from multiple disciplines (many themselves interdisciplinary in their individual career backgrounds) embarks on a year of working together. After a team building session and a training on peer coaching by expert Yasmin Dolak-Struss from Vienna, they will meet for at least eight peer mentoring sessions until spring 2024. Additional input is provided by Ute Riedler (on strategic career development), as well as by experts from within the university who will coach the team in funding opportunities & proposal writing, academic careers & contract types in Austria, and more. The University of Graz really appreciates their committment to professional development and enriching the academic community here in Graz! The previous peer mentoring team will be honored at the PostDoc Office Annual Event by Vice-Rector Joachim Reidl on May 4.
